I was delighted in the quality of the Baroque, black, free-form pearl necklace -- the pearls are very uniform and the lustre is outstanding. I wear a lot of black and gray and the necklace will be a great addition to my daily wardrobe. You can wear them with both dress and casual clothes. These pearls are casual, wearable and lustrous. It's great to start the new year with PEARLS!

I am delighted with this purchase. The photo does not do justice to the size & color of these beautiful pearls. The first time I wore them, I received numerous compliments. This was my first purchase from Hinson Gayle and I anticipate another in the near future.

I bought this as a present for my wife after my daughter suggested Tahitian pearls rather than the old stand-by white cultured type. Then I saw the price of "real" Tahitian pearls (gulp!). So I ordered this based on other reviewers' ratings (fully prepared to return if it was not what I expected), and I must say my wife seems thrilled. They came very nicely packaged and right on time.
Hey, I'm no jewelry expert, but it looks nice (and just as pictured), seems to be high-quality, and my wife loves it. 5 stars!

Very nice but the strand that was shipped to me was much more "silver" than multi-hued. Very little variation between pearls.
Much closer to the first and second product images than the third and fourth.

I just purchased these as a Christmas gift for a friend and I could not be more satisfied. The colors of the pearls are amazing, they are dark with various hues shining on them such as purple and even green. They look more like the colors my wife has on her much more expensive Tahitian necklace, not those phony dark black spray-painted looking colors you see on really cheap pearls. These are very lustrous and the colors are just perfect. I also like the shapes better than her Tahitian strand, guess since these are full nacre without the round bead inside it just allows them to look more irregular, which is why she likes baroque shaped pearls in the first place. These pearls are of excellent quality and have some weight to them, not those paper thin type pearls you see sometimes. I was surprised the size is actually a bit larger than I had expected, but that's a plus since I feel like she'll love these even more. Packaging was excellent too...with that outer folding gift box and tissue-wrapped box inside, there was no need to pay extra for gift wrapping, since they are ready to give as is. Two thumbs up!
