Silver pearl perfection. This gorgeous baroque pearl necklace is composed of handpicked free-form baroque freshwater pearls. These lustrous pearls were selected for their exceptional color, luster and unique shapes. The intriguing silvery gray color of the these pearls mimics the natural silver coloring seen in some Tahitian pearls, but unlike Tahitian pearls free-form pearls are 100% nacre and do not have a bead nucleus at their core. Their baroque shapes formed naturally in the shell, thus they are called free-form baroque. Each pearl is unique in form, adding a layer of complexity to the piece. The pearls are very large at 8-10mm wide and up to over 13mm long. These beautiful pearls are hand knotted on fine thread and the necklace is finished with a premium hand polished sterling silver double-safety ball clasp. The pearls were irradiated to create their Tahitian-like silver color; they have not been dyed and the color is permanent. Enjoy!!!
