5Gorgeous AAA Pearls!  Dec 02, 2010

I bought this AAA white pearl necklace for my daughter's Christmas and it is beautiful, much better than the picture. I showed my girlfriend when they arrived and she seems envious, so I may be getting ready to buy the larger 8.0-8.5mm size for her! I usually by HinsonGayle pearls because their quality is so dependable. The other week I saw another so-called AAA white pearl necklace here for less than $200 in the same size, and thought I would give it a try because it came with an appraisal and seemed like a great deal. It seemed too good to be true, and it was! The pearls were awful and had dents on them, and the luster and shape was inferior. They came in a gorgeous box, but unfortunately the contents left much to be desired. I learned to watch out for sellers offering these useless "self-issued" appraisals...let's face it, you get what you pay for. Thankfully HG came through again. Next time I won't bother with other sellers because returns are a hassle. HG is the best deal I have found for true high quality pearls since both the quality and price is better than any of the upmarket jewelry stores around here.
