I was looking for something special for my daughter for Christmas. I was looking at earrings on Amazon and came across this pair. I liked the warm color in the picture. The color of the earrings isn't quite as dark as they are in the picture. I would call them more of a bronze color than chocolate. The color is still nice and I think they will look good when she is wearing any brown outfit. The post length seems good and there are two stops for the back. They do not screw on. They are round with no visible flaws and are a very nice size.
The packaging is okay, but not outstanding. The outer box is a dark brown cardboard with the Hinson Gayle logo on the front. It is the quality of the collapsible shirt boxes you get in a department store. The inner white box is a little nicer. It, too, has the logo on top. When you take off the top, the front drops open. The actual box that the earrings are in is just okay. It is brown and has no logo and no padding. The earring box is wrapped in tissue and the white box is wrapped in tissue as well. This will increase the suspense when opening! A small pouch is included so they don't have to be stored in the larger box. The pouch could also be used for travel. A nice touch is the thank you card inside, as well as a discount code for using when ordering on-line (not at Amazon, I'm sure).

I gave these chocolate pearl earrings to my girlfriend for her birthday and she just loves them. The pearls are very round and they have a nice color and sheen. HinsonGayle's quality and service is first rate.
